2006 Pennington Day Grant Recipients

On Tuesday, February 20, the Pennington Day sGrants Committee came together at Pennington Borough Hall to recognize and award grants from Pennington Day 2006 to the following nonprofit organizations throughout the Hopewell Valley. Also listed is a brief description of what the grant will be used for.

Pennington Fire Company: Onsite laptop computer
Healthy Communities: Healthy Youth brochures
Visiting Nurse Association of Mercer County: Hospice booklet to distribute to caregivers
Hopewell Valley Recreation Foundation: Offset cost of mailing to support young people in alternative activities
Pennington Cub Scout Pack 44: Offset cost of track for Pinewood Derby
Pennington Players: Costume storage
Central Valley High PTO -- Post Prom Committee: DJ and hypnotist
Master Gardeners of Mercer County: Trees, bug boxes, and info stands
YMCA Aftercare: Art Supplies
Animal Allies of the Hopewell Valley: Rescue animal care
Hopewell Valley Chorus: Expanding concert series
Hopewell Valley Historical Society: Increase publicity for various program
YMCA of the Hopewell Valley: Healthy Intervention Program (HIP)
